Seattle and Mashiko and Sunsets

I made it to Seattle – West Seattle.

It’s beautiful. I had dinner at Mashiko with a friend, eating Omakase (Chef’s Choice) and drinking sake. Sushi is one of my favorite foods, and I’ve been anticipating the seafood in Seattle for quite some time.

Later, we visited Alki Beach, and were treated to the a quick sunset, fading fast over the mountains to the west in Olympic Park. The sea breeze, salt and brine and sea life, was refreshing after the long drive.

Alki Beach was beautiful. Today was amazing, and a great first visit to Seattle.
