I made my way into Grand Teton National Park, checking every campsite I could find.

They were taken.

Parking lots at the base of every trailhead are full.

I paid $50 for my park pass, good for seven days here and north of here, in Yellowstone National Park as well, but based on my experiences I might tread further west and deeper into the mountains.

I’m heading across Teton Pass, into Idaho, then north and east into the backside and less traveled part of the Tetons, an alleged wilderness.

Still haven’t seen any bears.
